Comments from contributor: This a site in the midst of a popular recreational area of NH. It is near the Connecticut lakes and there are numerous first class lodging opportunities. Just over the Canadian border, there is the Mt. Megantic Observatory, a major observatory managed by a consortium of Canadian universities.
